Hoodies haven’t been limited to cold weather workwear, military exercises or training for a big boxing match while yelling out “Adrian!” for quite sometime. They continue to occupy nearly the whole gamut of the fashion spectrum: lounge wear, going to the shops wear, athleisure, street wear, smart casual and hiphop casual. Wherever you’re wearing it, there’s no denying it’s become a staple in everyones wardrobe.

But if you’re here with the intent to step your hoodie game up, the best way to do that is to actually step it down. We’re talking bring it back to basics, going minimal and getting rid of those logos. We’ve picked up a few simple, minimal hoodies to show you that this fashion staple is here to stay.

Grey Marle – Pullover

It doesn’t get any more basic or versatile than a grey hoodie. You can wear it with almost anything, check the math:

Camo – Pullover

Despite what we said at the start of the article, it doesn’t all have to minimal and plain coloured hoodies. Pick a statement hoodie up, with a bold texture or pattern, but make sure the rest of your outfit is toned down. Otherwise you could end up looking like a Picasso painting on acid. For example this camo hoodie would be fire on its own, but if we matched it with camo pants and shoes, you wouldn’t be able to see us.
