Article: Short sleeve tees that are the bees knees 🐝

So like, T-shirts. So very normal, so very everyday. Yet they’re so very personal. They’re basic, essential and comfortable but everybody and every body is different. Yes, that’s right. EVERYBODY and everyone’s body is different.

So when you find a t-shirt that you like, you wear that motherfucker into the ground, you buy multiples cos you know it works for you.

These are ones I’ve got in my rotation at the moment.

Uniqlo U

I’ve always been a big fan of wearing Uniqlo’s crew neck supima t-shirts, they were my favourite until trying on Uniqlo U’s t-shirts. These shirts are now my current fav, they’re thick, oversized and boxy… kinda like me.

There a few different versions and they have changed between seasons, but I’ve always got a couple in white and grey at my disposal. Whether they’re just a plain crew neck or with a pocket detail, I wear one of these t-shirts at least once a week.

Everlane

I grabbed a few of Everlane’s pocket t-shirts after being impressed with their chore jacket and sweatshirt. They had a nice selection of colours, but I chose more neutral colours in stone, white and canvas.

These are thinner than the Uniqlo U shirts, but not undershirt thin. The fit is pretty standard and not boxy or oversized at all. Right now, I enjoy using them in monochrome, neutral and earth toned fits. These t-shirts are still in my regular rotation.

AS Colour

This New Zealand based company has been in my good books for years, they’ve always provided great quality basics at an affordable price and now is no different.

They usually run a promotion called ‘the deal’ where you can get 5 items for $120. Bargain. So I’ll grab a few basics in one go when I need them, hoodies, t-shirts or sweatshirts.

They’ve got a bunch of colours that you can check out. I’ve had a black and white tee from there for years that are still going strong and picked up a tan one recently.
